SC Police: Son Took Truck, Dragged Dad Behind It

ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) _ Authorities say a Rock Hill man allegedly tried stealing his parents’ pickup truck, dragging his father down the road in the process. The Herald of Rock Hill reports (http://bit.ly/1xTwuNJ ) that they got a call Saturday afternoon that a man was being dragged down the road behind a Ford F-150. Officers found a 61-year-old man limping down the road while walking home. He told them his son, 30-year-old Tokoa Page, tried to take the keys to the truck while the father was still inside it. Page’s mother told authorities her son didn’t have permission to use the truck. Authorities found Page later that day and charged him with petty larceny and resisting arrest.
