A Night with the Stars
(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., — Some children being treated at a Columbia hospital were treated to a special visit Sunday. Nearly a dozen former football players from the University of South Carolina and Clemson University spent the afternoon visiting Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital. Immediately following the visit and tour of the hospital, The players took part in “A Night with the Stars,” a silent auction aimed at raising money for the Palmetto Health Richland Trauma Center. This was the 5th year for the event, and in that period of time organizers say they’ve been able to raise more than 100 thousand dollars.
