Tigerburn, the annual pep rally before the Carolina-Clemson football game, is set for Monday, Nov. 24, and features the traditional torching of a gigantic tiger. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with the burn scheduled for 6 p.m. Tigerburn is held at the Greene Street Intramural Field, in the 700 block of Greene Street, and features Cocky and the Gamecock cheerleaders, the Cocktails a cappella group, trivia and more. Standing nearly 30 feet tall, the tiger is designed and built by a team of undergraduate students in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
