Myrtle Beach Police Investigate Man’s Death

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) _ Myrtle Beach police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found near some water pumps. Multiple media outlets reported that officers were called early Tuesday afternoon. Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard says the victim was 53-year-old William Allen Powell. Police found wounds on Powell’s body but have not said how he died. No arrests have been reported.
