Small independently owned showcases like the nickelodeon theater in downtown Columbia was given permission to show the film Tuesday. The dark comedy from the new Sony Picture ” the Interview” was almost left to collect dust on a shelf after threats of violence because of the films storyline that jokes about assassinating North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un. But thanks to an outcry from some in Hollywood and an overwhelming amount of people who now want to see what all the hype is about. ” we support free speech and we don’t think that a foreign country should dictate what we show in the theater here in America. Out of the 99 seats available in the theater more than 50 tickets have already been sold online.
