Search Narrows In Hunt For Alleged Kidnapper

Chesterfield, SC (WOLO)- Police have narrowed their search for a so-called survivalist accused of kidnapping his stepdaughter. According to arrest warrants for another case involving Harland “Donnell” Melton… he’s accused of beating two teen boys with a cane outside his Jefferson home back in October. A police report says the teens had red marks and swelling on their faces. Police believe Melton may be hiding out in the Buford Crossroads area of Lancaster County.
