Fire At Animal Rescue Claims Dogs’ Lives

York County, SC (WOLO)-An early morning fire destroyed part of an animal rescue in York County… killing 16 dogs. At least one other dog was hurt. most of the victims were puppies or dogs that were sick and hoping to recover to be adopted. Barking dogs woke up the owner. there were two space heaters in the office near the dogs…but it is not known yet if they caused the fire.
