Attempted Murder Arrest

RICHLAND CO., (WOLO) — The Richland County Sheriff’s Department has announced the arrest of a suspect wanted in connection with a January shooting. Deputies have charged Mark Anthony Wilson with four counts of attempted murder, discharging a firearm into a dwelling, possession of a stolen pistol, unlawful carrying of a pistol, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, resisting arrest, malicious injury to personal property and simple possession of marijuana. Investigators say on January 21, 2015, a 2009 gold Mercury sedan sped through the 7200 block of Patricia Drive at a high rate of speed, firing multiple shots at the victim. Authorities say the shooting was gang-related.
