Amber Alert Canceled

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WOLO) — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division canceled an Amber Alert Wednesday for a one-year-old girl. SLED says the child has been recovered safely. According to authorities, on March 24 at approximately 10:30pm, Ophelia Burris was taken from 214 Sandy Lane in Greenville. Authorities identified a suspect as 22-year-old Melenia Maria Ratliff. The two were believed to be headed for Georgia or Florida. ABC Columbia News will continue to follow this story and bring you updates as they become available.
