Minor quake reported in Barnwell County

BLACKVILLE, S.C. (AP) – A weak earthquake has struck in Barnwell County. Officials have received no reports of damage or injuries. The U.S. Geological Survey reports the quake hit around 2:20 a.m. Monday about four miles west of Blackville. That’s about 27 miles southeast of Aiken. The quake was very near the surface and had a magnitude of just 2.3.
