Possible New Protection For The State House

Columbia, SC (WOLO)-The State House could soon be under new protection. A house committee has approved a bill combining the five agencies that currently provide security… into a newly formed capitol police force. According to lawmakers, under the current system, a shooter going between the house and senate office buildings, would go through four jurisdictions. The bill now heads to the house floor.
