Suspected Gunman Charged with Attempted Murder

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., — Richland county sheriff’s say they were called to a home along Fairway Drive just before Midlnight Saturday after a woman called police claimed she was being shot out. According to Deputies, the unidentified female and the suspected gunman – Carvelous Lyles were arguing when Lyles got out of the car and grabbed a handgun from the trunk of his car. Authorities say Lyles began shooting several rounds of ammunition at the hood of the car while the victim sat inside. Deputies say she was not hurt. Once officers arrived on the scene, they say Lyles attempted to flee the scene, but was apprehended a short time later and taken into custody.
