Sumter Robbery Folo

Sumter, SC (WOLO)- Two men are in custody in a *string of armed robberies* that lasted more than a week and spanned two counties. This afternoon officials with The Sumter County Sheriff’s Department, Sumter Police Department, and Clarendon County Sheriff’s Department announced the arrests of Darius Cummings and Deshaun Forrest. Investigators say Cummings and Forrest are accused of several armed robberies at motels throughout Sumter County. According to deputies they were arrested yesterday afternoon during a robbery attempt in Clarendon County.
