Lower Gas Prices Mean Busy Roads this Memorial Day

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–AAA estimates close to a half million South Carolina drivers will hit the roads for Memorial Day. Triple A estimates 5 percent more travelers will head at least 50 miles from home. Gas Prices in South Carolina are averaging around $2.40 cents a gallon, that’s among the lowest in the Nation. Drivers will not be the only ones on the road this weekend. South Carolina State Troopers are beefing up enforcement to ensure a safe holiday.
