Plane Crash Update
Lexington, SC (WOLO)-.. Authorities say 85 year old Bob Russell reported engine trouble just before he crashed into a pond near Columbia Metro Airport Saturday morning. Russell, who helped start real estate giant, Russell And Jeffcoat was killed in the crash. Federal investigators are trying to determine what caused the plane to crash. Russell was a member of The South Carolina Aviation Hall Of Fame and an Air Force veteran.
