(WOLO) LEXINGTON, S.C., — From World War II to Iraq, seventh graders at Meadow Glen Middle School in Lexington have been spending the semester learning about war through the ages from those who lived through it. The kids were put into groups of five. Each group was matched with a veteran. About 70 Midlands’ veterans agreed to participate. The group was responsible for writing a biography about its veteran, in addition to creating a three to five minute long documentary. Thursday, the kids presented their projects to their veterans. Family and teachers were there for support.
