Overnight Storms cause flooding, power outages in Midlands

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–Overnight storms cause flooding, power outages in parts of the Midlands Thursday. Low lying areas in parts of Columbia, including Whaley, Main Street, Gervais and Millwood Avenue flooded early morning. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported downed trees in some roadways and SCE&G crews were tending to power outages mostly in Richland County.
