SCSU, Benedict Ranked in Top 20 HBCU Starting Salaries for Graduates

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–According to a study conducted by one web site, it pays to go to South Carolina State University and Benedict College. Tuesday Edsmart.org released its list of the top 20 historically black colleges and universities based on the average starting salary of its graduates. South Carolina State cracked the top 10 with an average starting salary of more than $44,000. Benedict College comes in at 17th on the list with an average starting salary of more than $41,000.
