Bond Revoked in Dog Muzzle Case

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) (WOLO) — The suspect accused of taping a Charleston dog’s muzzle shut and leaving her that way for more than a day had his bond revoked Friday. According to our sister station WCIV and officials at the Charleston Animal Society, 41-year-old William Leonard Dodson was expected to appear for a bond revocation hearing but did not show up at the hearing. Instead, his attorney pleaded his case on his behalf. Dodson also has another hearing at 2 p.m. on drug charges. Dodson was being held on a $50,000 bond before Friday’s hearing. And Caitlyn is currently living in foster care with a new brother named Oreo now that she has completed hours of surgeries and treatments at a Mount Pleasant veterinary emergency care center. The Animal Society shares photos and videos of Caitlyn regularly on its Facebook page, which always garners thousands of likes, shares, and comments.
