City’s water sewer fund ruling overturned

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The State’s highest court told the City of Columbia that the water and sewer fund is not its “piggy bank”. On Wednesday the South Carolina Supreme Court ruled against the city in a complaint filed by Columbia businessman and former Mayoral candidate Joe Azar. The ruling prohibits the city from using the water and sewer fund for unrelated projects.
