Lorenzo Nunez will start at QB for USC

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Lorenzo Nunez will be USC’s head football coach Steve Spurrier’s first freshman starter. The Kennesaw, GA native and freshman quarterback for the University of South Carolina will start this Saturday against Central Florida. Spurrier announced his decision Tuesday at his weekly news conference with reporters. “He gives us a spark running the ball. Let’s give him a chance to go play the game” Spurrier said.
