Coroner Identifies 5 victims killed in SC Flooding

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–Richland County Coroner Gary Watts is releasing the names of five individuals who have been recovered from vehicles involved in the flooding that has occurred in Richland County, SC starting on Sunday, October 4, 2015. Alexandria Maret Holmes, date of birth 1/8/1991, of Laurel Hill Road, Columbia, SC was found deceased in her vehicle on Sunday at 1310. Her vehicle was found at 1400 Sunset Boulevard, Columbia, SC. Timothy Gibson, date of birth 3/10/1970, of Pitney Street, Columbia, SC was found deceased in his vehicle on Sunday at 1842. His vehicle was found on Garner‘s Ferry Road between Chanwood and Congress Roads. Robert L. McCarty, date of birth 4/21/1937, of Sheldon Lane, Columbia, SC was found in his vehicle on Sunday at 2025. His vehicle was found at 4400 Devine Street, Columbia, SC. Melissa Lee Hall, date of birth 12/7/1979 of Oxford Road, was found in her vehicle on Monday at 0330. Her vehicle was found at Shady Lane and Kilbourne Road, Columbia, SC. Robert Edens Allawos, date of birth 12/11/1954, of Chesham Court, Columbia, SC was found in his vehicle on Monday at 0715. His vehicle was found at Caughman and Teague Roads, Columbia, SC. Search, rescue and recovery efforts are ongoing and updates will be made as they become available.
