City of Columbia Water Update

COLUMBIA, SC ( WOLO ) – – City of Columbia officials held a briefing Saturday on the progress of the Columbia Canal. City Manager Teresa Wilson says they are making great progress on the canal breach. City officials remind residents that a Boil water advisory for customers remains in effect. City officials say they could repeal the advisory in some areasif Columbia Saturday afternoon and Sunday. The city says they have successfully hooked up to several water sources and are pumping 35 million gallons of water.
