Police Arrest 10, Seize Guns and Drugs in Takedown
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The Midlands Gang Task Force arrested ten people after receiving complaints of gang and illegal drug activity in the Bethel Bishop Apartments.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott stated that the MGTF consisting of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Columbia Police Department, and University of South Carolina Police Department conducted an operation on Tuesday, December 15 at 100 Ripplemeyer Avenue and arrested the following individuals:
Kiara Tallessa Perry, 25,charged with trafficking crack cocaine and possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Lucas Lorenzo Murry, 33, charged with trafficking crack cocaine and possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Traon Marquell Davis, 22, charged with trafficking crack cocaine and possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Kewan M. Cherry, 26, charged with possession of cocaine
Abbonish Markese Belton, 25, charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Dominique Wilson, 17, charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Wilson Cedric Isaac, 29, charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Dexter Leonard Isaac, 27, charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Harley D. Stephens, 24, charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana
Valerie McFadden, 28, charged with trespassing, public disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest
During the search of an apartment, the MGTF seized approximately 34 grams of crack cocaine, 355 grams of marijuana, a .380 Smith and Wesson pistol, officials say.
Sheriff Leon Lott stated that Perry, Murry, Davis, Cherry, Belton, Wilson, Isaac, Isaac, Stephens, McFadden have been transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
