Sheriff Needs Help Locating Attempted Murder Suspect

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance identifying a suspect wanted for attempted murder.

Sheriff Lott said that just before 7 a.m. Saturday, November 21, deputies found a victim lying in the roadway near Castle Pinckney and Longshadow Roads.

The male victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the lower body and was transported to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital.

Investigators said that there was a civil disturbance earlier in the 17000 block of Decker Boulevard at Club Faces and the shooting is related to that incident, officials say.

Sheriff Lott said that possibly five  male suspects in a grey Cadillac may be responsible.
