Police Ask for Help Identifying Larceny Suspects
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in locating two suspects wanted for larceny after they allegedly cut a lock to gain entrance into a home on Plantation Drive.
Officials say that just after 7 a.m. on Saturday, December 19 in the 10o block of Longcreek Plantation Drive, two suspects stole several tools along with copper wire from the victim’s home that is currently under construction.
The items stolen are valued at approximately $2,800 authorities say.
Sheriff Lott said the suspects were captured on the victim’s home video surveillance equipment.
One suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid-30’s, approximately 6 feet tall wearing a bandana around his head; the other suspect is described as a black male, in his early to mid-30’s, with long dreadlocks in his hair, authorities say.
