Police: Woman Shot Multiple Times in Domestic Incident

HOLLY HILL, S.C. (WOLO) — A Holly Hill man is behind bars after allegedly shooting a woman multiple times at a home on Old State Road in Holly Hill early Thursday morning.

Darrien Weeks, 27, was charged on Friday, Jan. 8, with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, and grand larceny.

Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said the shooting occurred just before 8 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7, Weeks was apprehend a few hours later.

His court appearance for bond is still tentatively scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Orangeburg County Law Enforcement Center at 1520 Ellis Avenue.
