Greer Man Found by Hunter had Been Stabbed
Deputies say a Greer man whose body was found by a hunter in a field had been stabbed to death
TAYLORS, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies say a Greer man whose body was found by a hunter in a field had been stabbed to death.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office tells local media outlets a hunter found the man’s body on Friday afternoon.
Coroner Parks Evans identified the man as 42-year-old Jamie Howard. The coroner says Howard died of a stab wound to the chest and has ruled the death a homicide.
Deputy Coroner Sonny Soler says it’s hard to say how long Howard had been in the field or when he died due to recent weather conditions.
