Suspect Charged in the Shooting Death of Timothy Gentry
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Timothy Gentry was planning to propose to his long-time girlfriend when he was gunned down last year.
On Thursday, Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook announced that Ibin Patterson was arrested and charged with his murder.
Officials say a woman was also been charged in connection to the July murder.
Willette Wilson is accused of purchasing the murder weapon and giving it to Patterson.
Gentry’s body was found near the intersection of Beaufort Street and River Drive.
Gentry, 32, worked with children and took part in overseas charity work.
