Chapin to name New Police Chief Monday

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Town of Chapin will have a new top cop.

Monday Chapin’s new Police Chief Seth Zeigler will be sworn in.

The swearing in will take place at 9am at the Council Chambers at Chapin Town Hall;

Zeigler was named chief last month. A Chapin native, he most recently served as Captain of the Patrol Division for the West Columbia Police Department.

Previously, Troy Crump served as police chief.  He announced his plans to retire from the position back in November.
