McDaniel Presents Alma Mater With Super Bowl Ball
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Former Seattle Seahawk Tony McDaniel presented his alma mater W.J. Keenan High School a gold commemorative Super Bowl 50 football Thursday night. McDaniel, a Hartsville native who played his college football at Tennessee, played his junior and senior seasons at Keenan in 2001 & 02.
The undrafted defensive tackle started his NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2006-08 and played for the Miami Dolphins from 2009-12. During his next two seasons he went to the Super Bowl with Seattle, helping the Seahawks win Super Bowl XLVIII against Denver.
In 2015, McDaniel started three games for the Tampa Bay Bucs. He finished the season with 25 tackles and one sack.
