WATCH: Congressman Clyburn Endorses Clinton
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — United States Congressman Jim Clyburn endorsed Hillary Clinton as the most “viable” candidate as president of the United States.
During the press conference at Allen University Friday, Clyburn, the highest-ranking African-American in Congress said “is far and away the best choice to reform the criminal justice system.”
Clyburn’s support comes the day before Nevada’s Democratic caucuses.
The Nevada caucuses are the first test of whether Clinton’s organizational strength and advantages among minority voters can withstand a challenge from Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
