In the year since the broadband office has been around, 100,000 more households in the state have received internet access.

Monday’s renaming of the luncheon to the Dr. Emily Clyburn Memorial Brunch coincided with the kickoff of the Clyburn Foundations fundraiser in collaboration with the eight HBCUs in South Carolina.
“To ride down Main Street and interact with our fans and hear you screaming from the bottom of your heart how much you love us, it really resonates with me,” said Coach Dawn Staley.
Clyburn is making a forceful case for his preferred choice, U.S. District Judge J. Michelle Childs, a jurist from his native South Carolina.
President Joe Biden delivered the commencement address at South Carolina State University this morning.
