Third Suspect Arrested in Armed Robbery
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Columbia police have arrested a third suspect wanted in connection to an armed robbery in the 3200 block of Lucius Road on March 3.
Authorities say Juan Gilliam, 20, was taken into custody by members of the Midlands Gang Task Force and North Region Officers on Sunday night at a home on Gloria Trail.
Gilliam along with 18-year-old Tareeck Hinton and 27-year-old Dominique Profit are accused of stealing a Chevy Silverado, money and a cell phone from a man at gunpoint.
The victim was not injured during the incident, officials say.
Hinton and Profit were arrested and charged on March 3 after a K9 Team apprehended them at a home on Barhamville Road.
The trio is charged with armed robbery, grand larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and unlawful carrying of a pistol.
