Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said 20-year-old Divine McNeil was arrested for burglary, attempted burglary, petit larceny, and escape.

McNeil was arrested Thursday, March 10,  just before 1 p.m. after he led deputies on a foot chase after allegedly cutting the screen to the victim’s back window at a home in the 100 block of Gateway Lane.

Sheriff Lott said that the victim was home at the time and McNeil fled the location without making entry.
