Irmo Little League Season opens with ceremonies

    COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Hundreds of Little League players hit the diamond Saturday. This weekend the Irmo Little League officially kicked off Baseball season with Opening Ceremonies.
    According to organizers, for more than 75 years, Little League has provided communities around the world the opportunity for families to connect and for children to come together in a healthy, safe environment to learn the values of team sports and the fundamentals of baseball and softball.
