Police: Man Fired Multiple Shots, Striking Residence

RICHLAND, S.C. (WOLO) — A man is wanted by Richland County Sheriff’s deputies after allegedly firing multiple shots striking the victim’s residence and vehicle.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said 19-year-old Donnie Dimele. Jr. is wanted for four counts of attempted murder, shooting into a dwelling, malicious injury to personal property, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

On Tuesday, March 8, 2016 just after 5:30 pm Dimele allegedly went to the victim’s residence on Wilkinson Drive and fired multiple shots striking the victim’s residence and vehicle.

Sheriff Lott said the victim was standing at the front door and witnessed Dimele fire the shots in her direction.

Three other victims were inside the residence; no one was injured, officials say.

Dimele is an acquaintance of the victim’s son, Lott said.
