Fugitive Wanted in Fatal Shooting Captured In Pennsylvania
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO) — A man wanted by the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office in connection with a fatal shooting on earlier this month has been captured in Pennsylvania.
Anthony McKennie, also known by the alias Anthony Newman, wanted on a charge of murder, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon.
McKennie, 30, was located in a duplex in a residential area of Philadelphia after OCSO investigators learned the Pennsylvania native had relatives in that area.
U.S. Marshals and the Eastern Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force interviewed family members of McKennie but determined he was residing with acquaintances, officials say.
McKennie allegedly shot and killed 27-year-old Theodio Isaiah Glenn at a home on St. Ann Street.
