Police: Two Sought for Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted for attempted motor vehicle theft.
On Wednesday, March 23 at the Blue Moon Landscaping Company located at 1836 Pine View Drive the suspects allegedly cut through the fence around the business and attempted to steal a pickup truck that was parked on the property.
Sheriff Leon Lott said that the suspects drove the pickup truck off of the property and through the fence.
The suspects abandoned the vehicle after the vehicle got caught in the fence, Lott said.
