19-year-old Armel Marsh was arrested for forgery and 18-year-old Saquon Brunson was arrested for two counts of forgery, authorities say.
They were arrested on Thursday, March 24 at their homes on Jasmine Place Drive.
Marsh allegedly manufactured approximately $15,000 of counterfeit money and Brunson conducted purchases with the counterfeit money on Craigslist.
Sheriff Leon Lott stated that Brunson used the counterfeit money being printed and agreed to meet with victims to purchase items being sold from Craigslist:

· On Thursday, February 18 at the Walgreens located at 170 Forum Drive Brunson allegedly met with the victim to purchase a Play Station 4 for $550; Brunson made the purchase using counterfeit money.
Lott said that investigators were able to identify Brunson with the help of the community, and discovered Marsh printed approximately $15,000 of counterfeit money that was being used.
Investigators located items used to manufacture the counterfeit money during a search warrant at Marsh’s residence; additional counterfeit bills were also discovered during the search, Lott said.
