Car Flips During Interstate Argument

Officers say a driver was reportedly driving aggressively & arguing with another driver moments before the crash.

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – According to the Columbia Police Department’s Twitter page, all lanes were cleared just before 6 p.m. Wednesday on I-126.

Officers say a driver was reportedly driving aggressively & arguing with another driver moments before the crash.

The man who was hurt was traveling west on I-26 near I-126. While changing lanes, the driver hit a concrete barrier and lost control of his vehicle.

The vehicle flipped over the concrete barrier into the opposite side of the Interstate. The driver’s injuries are described as serious. No one else hurt.

CPD’s Traffic Safety Unit is still looking into what happened.
