COLUMBIA, S.C. — Just one day after ABC Columbia learned longtime USC Football Equipment Manager Chris Matlock was let go by Will Muschamp, Matlock has been offered another position with the school.
On Friday, Matlock and his staff were fired by Muschamp, but according to his Facebook page, he will remain at USC with his position to be determined.
Matlock has been at USC since 2000, when he was hired by former USC football coach Lou Holtz.
