Presidential Front Runners Hope for Clean Sweep on Primary Day

PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Republican Donald Trump is aiming for a sweep of all five Northeastern states holding primaries today.

For the Democrats, Tuesday’s contests offer Bernie Sanders one of his last, best chances to gain ground on front-runner Hillary Clinton, but pre-primary polls haven’t offered him much hope.

There are primaries today in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
