Man Suspected of Theft Linked to Other Shoplifting Cases
RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WOLO) – Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department are asking for the community’s assistance in finding a suspect they say stole an electronic device from a local Target.
Authorities say 40-year-old Matthew Smetana took an Apple Wi-Fi device valued at $200 from the Target located at 6090 Garners Ferry Road.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said investigators have linked Smetana to five additional shoplifting cases in other Target stores throughout the Midlands.
