Suspects Caught on Camera Stealing Cigarettes, CDs
SUMTER COUNTY, SC (WOLO) – Authorities are hoping that store surveillance footage will help identify suspects wanted for breaking in to “The Station” in Mayesville Wednesday morning.
Authorities say deputies responded to the store located at 5480 Florence Highway the suspects drove up in a late-model white Ford F-250 crew cab pickup truck, attached a chain to the front security doors and used the truck to pull the doors away from the business.
Once inside, the men went to the ATM and realized it was open and empty.
Officials say the suspects then jumped the counter and stole an undetermined amount of Newport cigarettes and an undetermined number of music CDs.
