Benedict Golf Finishes Seventh at PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (Benedict Athletics) — The Benedict men’s golf team shot a 334 on Sunday to finish in seventh place at the 30th PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship, contested at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

The Tigers shot a three-day total of 987 and held off SIAC rival Morehouse College by one stroke. Morehouse shot a 329 on Sunday to finish with a tournament total of 988.

Rajai Cousley had the best round on Sunday, shooting an 81 for a tournament total of 244. Muhammed NuMan had an 82 on Sunday and finished the tournament with a team-best 241. Kelly Allen had an 88 on Sunday for a three-day total of 250. Rhalston Jones shot an 83 to finish with a total of 252. Marqus Edwards shot a 92 for a three-day total of 265.
