Watch: Three Thursdays Three Authors

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) –The Richland Library is giving new meaning to the term T.G.I.T! The organization is getting ready to host a trio of female authors you can meet and greet for the next three Thursdays. It’s all part of the libraries, 3 Thursdays, 3 Authors event kicking off this Thursday May 12th. Each of the three writers will  read exerts from their books talk about their novels.

And even better than being able to get a preview of a good read, the Richland Library is hosting this event for free.

The first Author promises to take readers back in time to the 70’s and 80’s. Best selling – award winning, playwright, poet and novelist  Pearl Cleage will present her new book, Things I should have told my daughter :Lies, Lessons and Love Affairs. Cleage will appear at the South Carolina State Museum from 6:30 to 9pm Thursday May 12th.

Next Thursday hear from local author Sandra Johnson who will introduce her second book , Flowers for the Living a book touching on race relations and how a mentally ill teens pursuit of death by cop affects the officer and the teenagers mother. Check her out Thursday May 19th at the Lourie Center from 6p-8p.

And finally, on Thursday May 26th New York Times Best Selling Author Zane gives us a sneak peak at her latest romance novel,  Vengeance. A piece that explores a woman plot for revenge after experiencing a life altering event. Zane will showcase her latest novel at the University of South Carolina in the Booker T. Washington Auditorium from 6p-8p.
