Texas says No to Transgender Directive issued by White House

Texas (WOLO)– Texas is saying No to a Directive handed down Friday by the White House telling public schools they must allow transgender students to use the bathroom of the sex they identify with.
Friday, the White House sent down the directive to the Nation’s Public schools, and although it is not law, the White House said if states do not comply they face loss of Federal funding.

Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick says Texas and other states should not be blackmailed by the Obama administration.

Patrick told CNN quote “Our parents and parents all across America do not want their children showering together. They don’t want boys in the girls rooms.
This is unheard of. And this is the biggest issue, I think, for families in schools since prayer was taken out of public schools.”
