Governor’s Cup Saturday in Columbia

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Lace up the tennis shoes. The annual 44th annual Governor’s Cup race is Saturday at 7am.
According to race officials, the Cup Race is one of the oldest, continuously conducted road race events in the Southeast.

Half-Marathon: May 14, 2016 at 7:00 a.m. starts at 1312 Main St. heading south toward the SC State House. The event finishes heading west on Pendleton St. near 1030 Pendleton prior to Park St.
5k run: May 14, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. starts at 1312 Main St. heading south toward the SC State House. The event finishes heading south on Park St. at 1110 Park Street near the Flying Saucer.
