RCSD: Suspect Fired Multiple Shots Into Vehicle Overnight

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a shots fired call Wednesday evening and are asking for the public’s assistance with additional information.

Authorities say that around 10 p.m. a vehicle was traveling near Rushmore and Haymarket Roads when someone in the vehicle began firing multiple shots at another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.

There were two people in the other vehicle and no one was injured police say.

According to police the rear window of the victim’s vehicle was shattered.
